2020- present

Paochang is hosting two Podcasts: 【Paonorama】, which tackles his perspectives about life, travel and theatre, and 【Dahong, who?】invited by Taipei Arts Museum.

Queer theatermakers Pao-chang Tsai (Taiwan), Brian Ahn (Korea), and Michael Leibenluft (USA) will conduct a virtual residency over six months to explore ideas for a site-specific digital performance honoring historic gay cruising sites. They will record and exchange oral histories, video, and ambient sound and collaborate with new media designer Sadah Espii Proctor (USA) to test models for a new form of Queer theater that is hyper-local and global, communal and intimate all at the same time.

2019

Paochang is currently doing a Musical Theatre Training Pedagogy under the grant funded by Asian Cultural Council in New York (25th Feb - 30th June) and Seoul (31st August - 30th November )

2018

From November to December, Paochang participated in the production "DIE NACHT VON LISSADON" at Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. Under the scholarship of Goethe Institute as Regiehospitanz.

From August to October, Paochang attended Oregon Shakespeare Festival at Ashalnd serving as playwright in residency under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture, Taiwan.

In May <Solo Date> was invited to peforme at San Francisco International Arts Festival, which received a great review from San Francisco Chronicle by Lily Janiak.

Paochang is invited to choreograph a piece for world renown dance company, Cloud Gate 2 in Spring

2017

Paochang presented his latest work <The Book of Fate> at the National Theater Taipei.

Paochang is selected as one of the 38 official participants of the International Forum at Theatertreffen, the biggest theatre festival in German-speaking countries.

Paochang is invited to be the guest performer at Starlight Seoul Musical Festival and performed two songs.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Pao-Chang made his Edinburgh debut as the solo performer in his

creation <Solo Date>.
